The Days vs. Mount Vernon and Anacortes + awesomely awkward family photo.
We did the tulips and then went out to Anacortes. While Jentry took the girls to the beach, I hung out with the Lonely Forest boys who are working on pre-production for their upcoming release on Trans Atlantic records. Chris Walla was there and it was cool to finally meet him. Sitting in on their pre-pro sesh was a treat. I've always been impressed with how good these guys are, so it was really interesting to experience how they collaborate. Very excited for what's to come from The Lonely Forest.
Jentry picked me up & we got teriyaki to go and headed back to the beach for a picnic. We hadn't been there for more than 5 minutes when Chloe decided to make a break for the other side. Half way there, she ran straight into a large mud puddle, slipped, and totally biffed it, completely drenched in mud. 1 Point for Anacortes. I wish I'd have taken a picture.
All in all, a fun Day family outing. Day fam: 1. Mount Vernon & Anacortes: 1. It's a tie.
